Creating this album was a five year journey. (2020-2025) We were almost finished with the recording in July 2025 when Bruce had a stroke and passed away. It has been my honour and healing to finish this album and now share it with the world. 

These songs are our travelogue sharing Everything It Takes to navigate thru a worldwide pandemic/shutdown to live stream concerts, a return to “in person” concerts, playing thru debilitating physical pain, devastating cancer diagnosis, a miracle healing, and for Bruce the brave transitioning into the next frequency and me knowing we are still co-creating music and art together forever. 

Like every great adventure, we got lost and we found new paths, got directions from strangers, shared profound conversations, tried new things, made friends, let the beautiful scenery inspire us and followed our hearts to the next day. These songs were our guides, life rafts, celebrations, conversations, channeled dreams, precious shared moments and they each came to us exactly when we needed them. They lead us to a deeper trust and understanding of community, family, grace, benevolence, and loves infinity.

‍Everything It takes for me to complete this album after Bruce passed has not been alone.  

I received amazing help from Joshua Griep engineering, mixing and mastering the music, Katie Henry adding instruments and John Reitz the art direction and album design. 

It also takes A VILLAGE - yes, our amazing actual little village of Big hearts here in Wisconsin,

as well as our worldwide community of listeners, fans and friends, and our families without whom I would have not been able to continue to do any of “It.”
