For the Love of Art is the NAA's annual evening of artistic, culinary, and performing arts unlike any other annual gala around. Guests will enjoy special rooms of masterfully-created cuisine from 21 Spices by Chef Asif, Tommy Bahama, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Service by Jordan, Another Broken Egg Cafe, Tacos & Tequila Cantina, Miami Crepes Catering Company, Fresh Fit Foods, and Adelheidi's Organics - each with its own artistic theme designed by Steven Bowles Creative, Grace Lakes Florist Inc, and BouTeak by JM, Inc. will bring these designs to life through floral, visual, and lighting scenes.
A live performance from Patchouli will showcase selections from its animated concert experience - The Landscape of Guitar - which highlights guitarist/artist Bruce Hecksel's original paintings with a musical performance. This folk festival headliner and public radio favorite features pure, haunting lead vocals and beautiful harmonies and its sound, depth, and virtuosity has been described as “Simon and Garfunkel meets the Gipsy Kings”. And, jazz violinist @Joe Osment; singer Daniel Melvin; and DJ William Chwick will round out the musical performances.
Don’t miss artists Michael Monroe Ethridge Art creating a live mural and Loki Anthony, most recently seen at the NAA’s remarkably successful Scene to be Seen: A Runway Art Show event, demonstrating hand painted apparel.
For the Love of Art not only serves as an evening of entertainment and celebration, it is also to raise funds to provide art education for everyone – no matter their socioeconomic background. With that in mind, there will be a special Fund-A-Need for Children’s ARTScool, community outreach programs, and art supplies throughout the evening.
